Terms & Conditions (T&C)

Badehotel Bristol AG – Hotel Le Bristol, Leukerbad

1. Scope of Application

These Terms & Conditions apply to all contractual relationships between Badehotel Bristol AG (Hotel Le Bristol) and its guests.

2. Conclusion of Contract

A binding contract is formed once the guest submits a reservation (written, by phone, electronically or in person) and the hotel provides a confirmation.
Emails are considered written communication.
These T&C form an integral part of the contract.

3. Reservation Conditions

All reservations must be guaranteed with valid credit card details.
If these details are missing or invalid, Badehotel Bristol AG reserves the right to cancel the booking without prior notice.
All prices are in CHF, including VAT and excluding local taxes.

4. Visitor’s Tax

The following tourist tax from the municipality of Leukerbad applies per night:

• CHF 6 per adult

• CHF 3 per child (6–15 years)

• Children up to 5 years: free of charge

5. Price Changes

Price adjustments may occur in the following cases:
a) newly introduced or increased government charges (e.g., VAT, visitor’s tax)
b) currency fluctuations (calculated according to the daily rate of the hotel)
c) obvious printing or system errors

6. Cancellations and Modifications

a) General Conditions (Daily Rates, Longstay, Packages)

Cancellations and modifications are valid only in writing.

b) Cancellation Insurance

If the guest has taken out cancellation insurance, it may cover the incurred costs.

c) Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure (political unrest, strikes, natural disasters, etc.), Badehotel Bristol AG may cancel the stay at short notice for safety reasons.
Payments already made will be refunded in the form of a voucher.

d) Disturbances and Operating Restrictions

Disturbances such as noise or technical malfunctions do not entitle guests to compensation or refunds.

7. Minimum Stays

Minimum stay requirements:

• Winter and summer weekends: 2 nights

• Christmas, New Year, public holidays: 2–7 nights

8. Liability and Damages

Badehotel Bristol AG is liable only for damages caused intentionally or through gross negligence.
Liability for guest belongings is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

All claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days after departure.

9. Parking

Parking is available:

• CHF 8 per night (outdoor parking)

• CHF 15 per night (garage)

Liability is limited to the statutory provisions.

10. Use of Hotel Rooms

Guests must use and treat the room with due care.
The room may only be occupied by the number of people booked (including children).
Subletting or transferring the room to third parties is not permitted.

Guests are liable for damages unless they can prove that the damage was not caused by them.
Damages must be reported immediately.

The hotel reserves the right to check rooms at any time.
Additional cleaning or damage costs may be charged.

Check-in: from 3:00 pm
Check-out: until 11:00 am

11. Pool & Wellness Facilities

• Children under 16 years: only allowed in pools when accompanied by an adult

• Sauna, steam bath, fitness: from 16 years

• Use is at the guest’s own risk

• There is no lifeguard on duty

• Guests must adhere to the Hotel Le Bristol pool regulations

Badehotel Bristol AG assumes no liability.
